Finally, after having a bit of a panic about my finances – I’ve figured this thing out.
I keep struggling to keep up with my budget – ever since I began supporting two people. And I’ve figured it out.
It’s because I kept telling myself “you must go on holiday far away this year!” and “You must go on holiday for two weeks!”
And then it hit me “my saving for a holiday is really kicking me in the pants”
And also, one more thing
I’ve agreed to take part in the Interval Study which means I am hoping to Give Blood at regular intervals. This means, I should really spend less time outside the country. Although, I am going to France in July – but that was arranged bef6re Christmas, so can’t really do anything about it now!
So yes basically, I am learning what is in my limits and what is not, and it took the Blood Donation Service to help me realise.
How do you guys go about holidays – do you save money, plan way in advance? There are so many places I want to go, but so few of those are a good idea right now. Oh well.
Also, do seriously give blood – it takes about half an hour at most, and there’s free biscuits, chocolate, tea, coffee, juice, as well as really friendly staff. You can see where your closest donor centre is by looking here.
(No, the Blood people didn’t pay me for any of that, I’m just a strong advocate for it)
